Research and innovation
We devote a lot of effort to keeping our expertise up-to-date.
Our strategy is split between:
Continuous development of business processes and product quality
Our Quality Management system ISO 9001:2008 is the real beating heart of our organisation and all company sectors and processes are harmonised according to it. The objectives of improving products and processes are consistently established, and regularly measured.
External monitoring of technologies
This step is critical for the development of our knowledge, in such a way as to allow us to increase skills in our areas of historical reference, and to take on new ones.
Our standardised processes allow elaboration in different types of projects, depending on the complexity.
We support initiatives that allow us upgrade the company technology portfolio, not only related to the sheet metal forming process, with joint projects with customers and/or suppliers.
Optimisation of production processes JUST IN TIME
Our staff is geared and stimulated towards new approaches and to seek a better way of carrying out their activities.
Analyses are performed to identify methods, tools and technologies that can make a beneficial change to the existing practice in line with a bottom optimisation strategy.
Partnerships with customers and suppliers
We believe that in order to grow further, GMG should increasingly focus on innovation, but in partnership.
In a scenario where the fusion of knowledge inside and outside the company is a focal point to being more competitive at international level, the involvement of external partners (firstly, suppliers and customers, but also producers of complementary products to our products) is the way to create a network of integrated collaboration that can influence company strategy for the better and give more value to our customers.
